Unfortunately, the Fletchlings had caught on.

Now, they chirped deep within the trees. Their calls taunted June, and their obscured movements rustled fresh leaves from their hiding spots. For the average person this would be an impossible task: how did one capture something that didn't want to be caught? Something like a bird, no less. However, this wasn't June's first rodeo with birds.

They weren't that smart. That's why she chucked the safari ball straight up, toward the edge of the growth. She heard a cry, and then the ball crashed back down. Then, it shook.

June tossed two of the Poke Balls in her hand high in the sky. What emerged were two Mienfoo, each one equally as pissed off at June as they were at the newcomer right in front of her. The third Mienfoo, which looked at the group of adversaries without so much as a flinch, egged them all on. 'Attack me if you dare', it wanted to scream.

Instead, it was dogpilled by all three of them. Shortly after, it was shoved inside another Safari Ball.

The Varooms had also caught on. Now, they were all in hiding. Even worse, June wasn't familiar with their gambits and tricks as much as she was with Fletchlings. They could be anywhere. In the trees, underneath some rocks, even underneath her very f--

June looked down to her feet, at the strange 'rock' she stepped on. Then, she reached down and grabbed it, then pulled upward. It didn't budge, and June let go. Way too heavy. But, this was probably what she was looking for. One of the only few to hide, likely.

That made it all the easier to capture.
